Account deletion

Signed-in users can start account deletion in the app from More > Settings > Account.

Subscriptions

Manage or cancel App Store subscriptions in Apple ID settings. Billing is handled by Apple.

Privacy

Send privacy requests by email. Include the Apple relay email or account email you used.

Before you email

These steps fix many review, scan, and subscription access issues.

  • Update Lumynous Care to the latest available version.
  • Confirm camera permission is enabled if scan capture is not working.
  • Try a brighter, sharper product photo if ingredient OCR misses text.
  • Use Restore Purchases if an active subscription is not recognized.
  • Check that you are signed in before using backend sync or account deletion.

Billing and account notes

These are handled in different places, so use the right path.

Deleting your Lumynous account removes account-backed app data but does not cancel an App Store subscription. Cancel billing in Apple ID subscription settings.

Refund requests are handled by Apple. If premium access does not appear after purchase, use Restore Purchases in the app or email support with your Apple purchase date and app version.

How do I get help with a subscription or billing charge?

App Store subscription billing, cancellation, and refund requests are handled by Apple. If Lumynous Care is not unlocking premium access correctly, email support with your purchase date, app version, device model, and iOS version.

How do I restore purchases?

Open Lumynous Care and use Restore Purchases on the paywall or in Settings while signed in to the same Apple account used for the original purchase.

How do I delete my account?

In the app, go to More > Settings > Account and choose Delete Account. This removes account-backed Lumynous data. If you have an active App Store subscription, cancel it in Apple ID settings.

What should I do if scanning does not work?

Confirm camera permission is enabled, try brighter lighting, keep the product label flat, and retake the photo. If OCR still fails, email a screenshot and describe what product you scanned.

Where do I send bug reports or feature requests?

Send bug reports and feature requests to the support email. Include steps to reproduce, screenshots if useful, and what you expected to happen.
