Terms for using Lumynous Care.

• You must comply with applicable laws and the Apple Media Services Terms when using the Service on Apple devices.
• Certain features may require a Lumynous account authenticated with Sign in with Apple.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your device access and for all activity that occurs through your account.

Lumynous Care helps you scan ingredient panels, search and compare personal care products, save favorites, and organize routine information. The Service is intended for informational and product-discovery purposes only.

The Service does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Product scores, ingredient summaries, risk signals, and routine recommendations are informational only and should not replace advice from a qualified medical or skincare professional. If you have allergies, a medical condition, or a reaction to a product, consult a qualified professional.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or abusive conduct.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service, including attempts to bypass security or rate limits.
• Upload content you do not have the right to use, including content that infringes intellectual property or privacy rights.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or extract the Service except as allowed by applicable law.
• Misrepresent scan results, subscription status, or your identity.

You retain ownership of content you submit, such as ingredient photos or text you provide. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, process, store, reproduce, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the Service.

Some features may be offered as a paid auto-renewable subscription through Apple's in-app purchase system.

• Before purchase, we will clearly describe the paid features, subscription period, price, and any free-trial terms shown in the app.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Auto-renewable subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings after purchase.
• If a free trial is offered, any unused portion of that trial may be forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where allowed by law.
• We may use RevenueCat or a similar processor to validate entitlement status, but Apple remains the merchant of record for App Store purchases.

The Service, including its design, software, branding, text, graphics, and compiled product insight presentation, is owned byAlterkon or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you ownership of the Service or its underlying software.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We do not guarantee that the Service or any feature will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

• You may stop using the Service at any time and may delete your account using the in-app delete-account flow.
• We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, misuse the Service, or create risk for us, other users, or the platform.
• Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and dispute-related provisions, will survive.

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be accurate, complete, or suitable for your specific needs.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Alterkon and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, and licensors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, goodwill, or business interruption, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and may provide additional notice in the app or on the website when appropriate. Continued use of the Service after the updated Terms take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
